Amanda Turns 6!

Amanda's 6th birthday was yesterday. Here she is opening presents (with Mitchell's help reading the cards) and blowing out the candles on her cake.

I've been blogging my political views for several months now so I finally decided it was time to establish a personal blog for our family. I will post pictures and video for all our friends and family to share and I hope to inspire others in our extended family to participate on this as well. Since our lives have separated us considerably these past several years, this might be a good way for us to stay in touch in between the rare occasions when we do get together. I look forward to any ideas you might have for ways to make this effort successful.
