This is the house 3 doors down from ours. They just put it on the market and we know they did a lot of updates so we went to the open house to get some ideas for updating our own. Very impressive.

Pine Car Derby 2010
The kids ended up doing pretty good. Amanda took 3rd out of 9 and Mitchell took 6th out of 19. Both are now qualified to go to regionals if we choose to go.
There were so many cars for the Boy Pioneers that we had to split them into two groups and then take the best 4 from each group for the finals. Mitchell was in the first group and did really well (I think he was 2nd in that group) but the second group had a lot of fast cars which dropped him down to 6th overall.
All in all it was a lot of fun with some good natured competition.

It's Been a While
I see that I haven't posted anything here for some time. I guess we've been using Facebook so much that we forgot all about this personal blog. For those of you reading here I recommend making to leap onto Facebook. It's a very neat way to stay up-to-date with friends and family.
