Hey, here's a picture I took at work on the epifluorescence microscope. The glowing blue dots are the nuclei of each cell in the tissue, which in this case is the trachea of a fly larva that I dissected. The nuclei are glowing because I stained them with a fluorescent dye called DAPI. I wasn't even supposed to be looking at this tissue, but it looks a lot cooler than what I was supposed to be looking at :-)
